For the finals only the 7 highest totals made it so obviously it makes more sense to play in one of the last qualifying rounds so you know what number you have to it.

At the end of the 7 hand round, only the winner was added to the finals list. At the qualifying time, 7 players played 7 hands of blackjack starting with a $2000 bankroll. On the Jade, NCL had several qualifying times before the finals held on the last sea day.
