Instructor Amanda Collins of the YMCA of Eastern Delaware County led seniors in Zumba exercising. Pharmacists from PerformRX were on hand to discuss medications and interactions. Schaffer Sound Productions Deejay Joe Foley played music and took requests from the crowd. The new Delaware County Health Department was on hand, administering COVID vaccinations and booster shots. Throughout the expo day, there were raffle drawings, with prizes donated by the vendors and sponsors. Vendors at the expo included home care agencies, physical therapists, nursing homes and life care communities, insurance carriers, government agencies, hospitals, and health care systems. A steady stream of seniors came out for the event, despite the inclement weather.ĭesigned for local residents, ages 55 and over, the free event features dozens of vendors, educational information, giveaways, informative resources, and door prizes.
